Physics & Chemistry Faculty

Dual Ph.D. holder and published quantum theorist, Dr. Ayala makes complex science tactile through labs that connect music, light, and atomic theory.

Ms. Naomi Bensouda

Applied Mathematics & Data Visualization

A data artist and MIT-trained statistician, Ms. Bensouda helps students explore math as storytelling—through graphs, motion studies, and creative modeling.

Mr. Dae-Min Lin

Genetics and Forensic Science

Former lab technician and science communicator, Mr. Lin blends traditional biology with 3D modeling, helping students visualize complex systems in vibrant ways.

Biology & Human Anatomy

Mr. Derek Suvae is a Science teacher at Beverly Hills Academy with a strong passion for biology, earth science, and astronomy. Known for his energetic and engaging teaching style, he encourages students to explore the world around them and think critically about how it works. A field researcher and sustainable agriculture advocate, Dr. Greene connects ecology, climate change, and scientific activism through project-based learning.

Dr. Ronan Foster

Chair of Life Sciences

Dr. Foster holds dual doctorates in biology and environmental science. His classes go beyond the textbook with field labs, dissections, and community-based conservation projects. He's particularly focused on connecting science with social change.
