Extracurriculars

At Beverly Hills Academy of Arts, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our robust selection of extracurriculars offers students opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, and creatively. Whether you’re discovering new passions, deepening existing interests, or building leadership skills, our after-school clubs create space for connection, purpose, and joy. Students are encouraged to participate in at least one club per semester to make the most of their high school experience.

Yoga & Mindfulness

Unplug, stretch, and center your mind. This club offers weekly sessions focused on meditation, gentle movement, and breathwork to help students manage stress, improve focus, and cultivate inner peace.

Photography Club

For aspiring photographers and visual storytellers, this club explores camera techniques, editing software, and themed shoots. Students build personal portfolios and even contribute to school-wide exhibits.

Anime Club

A space for fans of Japanese animation and culture to connect, the Anime Club hosts screenings, cosplay days, drawing contests, and lively discussions around art, storytelling, and fandom.

Panthers Give Back

This student-led service organization coordinates volunteer projects and donation drives for causes across Los Angeles. From community clean-ups to food pantry work, Panthers Give Back is for students who want to make a real impact.

Big Brother, Big Sister

This mentorship-based club pairs upperclassmen with middle school students for academic help, goal-setting, and personal support. It's a rewarding opportunity to lead with compassion and care.

Las Palmas Television and Film Society

Students in this club dive into film critique, screenplay writing, and production. Members collaborate to create short films, host student film festivals, and interview industry professionals.

AAK All Stars

A proud extension of our athletics program, AAK All Stars pairs upper-level student-athletes with younger students and pee wee teams for mentorship, coaching, and leadership development. Members gain hands-on experience in sports instruction while inspiring the next generation of players through skill-building, teamwork, and encouragement.

Panther Print

Our official student-run publication features campus news, creative writing, student spotlights, and cultural commentary. Writers, editors, and designers work together to publish both digital and print issues monthly.

Sweet Paw

This student-led café is operated by culinary students and serves breakfast and lunch to staff. From managing menus to preparing dishes, Sweet Paw gives hands-on experience in restaurant operations and hospitality.
